Bychkov Igor Vyacheslavovich – the member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Department of Nanotechnology and Information Technology, Director of the Institute for System Dynamics and Control Theory of Siberian Branch of RAS, Chairman of the Irkutsk Scientific Center Presidium.

Bychkov I.V. is the expert in the field of information technologies. The basic scientific results: corporate intellectual technology of data processing of the spatially-distributed objects, complexes and systems on the basis of artificial intellect methods, ontologies and metadescriptions. These results have received application in control systems of regions and wildlife management, and in difficult technical complexes containing specialized knowledge bases and geoinformation systems.

Bychkov I.V. is the author and the co-author of more than 150 publications, including 9 collective monographies.

He has both Russian and foreign government awards and the rank "The Honourable Worker of Science and Technology of the Russian Federation". He is the recipient of the Prize of the Government of the Russian Federation for 2012 in the field of science and technology for creation of information-telecommunication infrastructure of interdisciplinary scientific researches as well as the recipient of some other prizes in the field of information technologies.
